WORK BEGINS ON NEW ALBUM

We are working on plans for a new album, so music dates are as close to home as possible this summer, with the exception of a few dates in KS and MO.

The album is being recorded in Dallas and in Toronto and will be produced by Paul Mills. This will be a LONESTAR STOUT project and include Hugh Morrison, Mason Brown, Pete Dawson along with Jed and Jaime Marum and others.

The albums is called SANDS OF ABERDEEN - and features original and traditional music, a blend of Scottish, Irish and American roots music with a strong Celtic flavor. The album is planned for release in Nov of 2008.

OTHER NEWS

The LONESTAR STOUT project has a few new dates added for 2008, and more will be added soon. These dates include Mason Brown, Hugh Morrison and guests.

Our friend and LONESTAR STOUT bandmember, Mason Brown has just released an album that we hope you will check out. It is available on-line at CDBaby, at I-Tunes and all of the MP3 services.

Mason is a truly fine musician of traditional Appalachian and Irish music. His new album is called, When Humans walked the Earth and it is a collection of songs and tunes with variety; some original and some traditional.
